Moving Out of Our Apartment

Now that we have the process started with the government, we went ahead and moved out of our apartment, our first home together. It was a two bedroom apartment that we had filled and painted, so there was a lot of cleaning, painting, and purging to be done before we could leave. In order to make it a quicker, less stressful moving process once the actual flights are booked, we decided to downsize A LOT!

For the short time that we’re still in Oregon, we’ve moved in with a nice couple that has been family friends of Taylor’s for generations. We sold most of our furniture, gave a lot of household items away, and we’re now in one bedroom with a shared bath at their house. While we miss our privacy a little, it’s been a great move to save money and take this move one step at a time. It won’t be long and we’ll be moving again!
